BEYOND OT Australia is a South Australian paediatric occupational therapy service founded on June 1st, 2022.
Created with passion and purpose, Beyond OT was built to go beyond therapy — offering genuine, meaningful support to children and their families.
Rooted in care, connection, and compassion, we walk alongside families through developmental challenges, tailoring support to each child’s pace and needs.
We’re proud to be the first in South Australia to introduce Virtual Reality as a therapeutic tool in paediatric OT, blending traditional approaches with immersive, engaging experiences that help children grow through play.
At Beyond OT, we combine science, technology, and heart to create a more inclusive and empowering future for every child we support.

Rikki is the founder of Beyond OT and a dedicated occupational therapist originally from Singapore. Passionate about helping people improve their quality of life, he has worked across schools and community settings, always focused on supporting children and young people to reach their full potential. Inspired by the possibilities of innovation in therapy, Rikki is now leading the transformation of Beyond OT as the first clinic in South Australia to integrate Virtual Reality (VR) therapy. She values trust, connection, and making every family’s experience at Beyond OT a positive one from the very first contact.

Late 2023, first therapy space secured. Started working with clients with our own dedicated space from Melrose Park.
Continued ongoing delivery of home, mini-studio and school-based therapy services.
Moved out of Melrose Park and secured another shared therapeutic space in Ascot Park.

Provision of telehealth services for greater accessibility.

Collaboration with VR Zone in November 2024 to explore Virtual Reality integration.
We became pioneers in South Australia in using Virtual Reality in Paediatric Occupational Therapy, combining technology with compassionate care.
Launch of Beyond OT’s first Virtual Reality Therapy Studio in February 2025 at VR Zone, Richmond.
Integration of sensory technology spaces combining swings, crash mats, trampolines, and VR headsets.
